[Hiring] Build a Bitcoin Based Gaming API

I'm an indie game developer and I'd like to build games that allow people to send in a little bitcoin and play for a large prize if they get a high score.
This API seems to have most of the features I'm looking for. A team I'm working with tried to build on it, but we ran into issues trying to get it to work. We reached out to the developers and even offered some btc for a non exclusive license, but I think they are too busy to want to make a deal right now. We'd still love to do business with them but it takes two to tango.
Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to build an API with all the features of Propane, plus the following additions or modifications.
If you're interested in this contract send me a PM with the following:
Payment Schedule, one quarter for each milestone:
Please PM me your offers for the next 72 hours. I'll get back to you after that time if I'm going with your offer.
Please post any questions you have in this thread so others with the same questions can see them.
I've done 5+ contracts between jobs4bitcoins and bitcointalk under slightly different names. I can provide references and usernames if people want them.
Thanks for reviewing my offer!

Announing Block Chain Roulette - Multi-player, no signup, block based spin Bitcoin roulette game

To celebrate Bitcoin Friday, Block Chain Roulette is now online!
Check it out at BlockChainRoulette.com
Block Chain Roulette is a Bitcoin based game, like SatoshiDice. What is different about Block Chain Roulette is that you are playing at the same table as every other player. The wheel is spun every time a Bitcoin block is created.
Each possible roulette bet (including all of the various splits) has it's own unique Bitcoin address. To make a bet, just send your Bitcoin to the address that corresponds to the bet you wish to make. Multiple bets per transaction are allowed. Your not required to sign up for an account, just send some Bitcoin to an address. Bets made will automatically appear on the board. There is no need to refresh your browser, just sit back and watch the bets come in.
When a new block is created, all of the bet transaction that were included in that block are processed.
The minimum bet is 0.01 BTC and the maximum bets are: 0.25 BTC for inside bets and 0.50 for outside bets. Bets made under the limit will not be refunded. Limits will eventually be raised in the future after more testing is done.
The max bet limit is enforced per BTC sending address. Since each Bitcoin transaction may use several and different addresses for each transaction, there is effectively no max bet.
Because of this, the site needs to ensure it is able to pay all winning bets. If a bet is made that could not be paid should it win, the coins will be immediately refunded with the status "betting closed". This is similar to a real life roulette table when no more bets are accepted before the wheel stops spinning. The refund transaction sends back the exact same coins and the should confirm in the same block as the original transaction which shows the refund was issued before the block was created.
The game uses a European roulette board with a single zero Roulette board. The house edge on this game is 2.70%, which is a little bit higher than SatoshiDice at 1.9%, but it's a lot more fun than SatoshiDice! Just like real life roulette, it's fun to spread your chips on the table using some strategy or bet with other people on a number.
The method used to calculate each random number is explained in detail on the site. All random can be verified after they are selected.
Not all e-wallets will be compatible with this site, just like SatoshiDice. You need to be able to receive Bitcoin at the same address your bet was sent from. To test, send 0.001 BTC to any bet address.
Bots are welcome to play. There's a JSON API that should be easy to use to make a bitcoin roulette playing bot.
I'd love to hear your comments, feedback, suggestions, questions, etc. I'll post some stats on random number distribution so far through the first 207,000 blocks later today

ada a smart contract platform just like ethereum
monero is a privacy coin
enjin is based off of owning in game items
it would behove you to understand what each project is trying to accomplish before you spout nonsense. Not every project out there is trying to create another bitcoin, and on topic of ADA it's a third gen crypto thats quantum resistant. What are you going to do when quantum computers become mainstream and bitcoin is no longer viable as a means to safeguard your wealth?

Post Bitcoin, my country is a heaven for Haswell-based PC gaming

Just want to share this "phenomenon" I've noticed for quite sometime. When my brother's mainboard failed, we thought of selling whatever that's left and upgrade to Ryzen. But it would never hurt to do another check, so I went on my wife's favourite online shopping platform to search for one. And voila, I found a B85 mainboard for ~$40.
Their recommendation engine quickly kicked in. To my surprise, "8GB DDR3" is one of the most popular search keywords. This means a lot of people were looking for them, so Haswell builds must be popular. I know mine is still running well.
So I decided to calculate the cost for a whole Haswell-based build, and this is what it cost to have an extremely decent gaming machine:
Total, minus HDD/SDD, monitor or mouse/kb: $275
There are, of course, a lot of risks:

And yes this build ins't going to win any speed contest, and the RX580 most likely gets bottlenecked by the CPU... But the beauty of this is, for $275, people can get a PC that can play pretty much ALL the AAA titles decently without breaking the bank. On my PC with similar configuration, I often get ~70-80fps out of TD1 and BF1. Even at Ultra in BF1, in smaller maps, I can still get ~60fps.
This is something I don't think has ever happened. I don't recall being able to play AAA games on a $275 build. Thank you, Bitcoin crash.
Edit: I just checked again and the price of the GPU went up, the cheapest RX 580 8GB now goes for ~$75. However $50 can still net you a RX 570 4GB, in this build the difference isn’t quite noticeable

PSA: If you haven't spilled gutrot vodka on your polemon cards sell them and clear the debts.

For those of you with nerdy childhoods now is a great time to cash out your pokemon cards due to fucking Logan Paul. I just sold my old collection for 25k, paid off what debt I had, bought too many bottles of macallan, and am sitting on a home downpayment. I'm guessing at least some people have their collections sitting at their parent's house and a few grand can mean a world of difference to a CA.
Edit: My phone autocorrects Pokemon to polemon and I can't change the title. Fortunately there are worse typos on this sub.

I made a Bitcoin based Trading Card Game (AMA)!

Hello Reddit!

This is the first place I wanted to debut a game I've been spending quite some time working on. It's a Bitcoin backed trading card game called "Bitcards". The game consists of collecting cards and then using those cards to construct decks which you can battle other players with. Each different card you collect will be represented by a different Omni Layer token which is ultimately secured by the Bitcoin blockchain.

One of my (and the teams) core beliefs is that in order for blockchain technology to become widespread there must be sustained and varied use cases for the technology. Trading card games are an ideal space for blockchain tech to be applied as the blockchain solves two major issues with traditional trading card games up front.
  1. Authenticity - Cardboard collectables can ultimately be forged no matter how many measures the manufacturer takes to make forgery difficult. Bitcoin baked tokens cannot be forged.
  2. Trading cardboard with people is difficult - The blockchain is digital which allows the trading of assets to be done online or through various platforms, this makes trading much easier than meeting in person or trading cards at a hobbyist store.
The game will be free to play where you download the client and recieve a 60 card starter deck. The starter cards are not bitcoin backed tokens but rather a representation of some common cards on our server for you to get started with free of charge. After that you can purchase booster packs for about 1.5$ (in BTC) per pack (depending on mining fee). We will always limit the supply of our booster packs as limited print runs are in the spirit of trading card games and limited supply is in the spirit of Bitcoin!

The first release and first set are our Alpha release and we are looking to listen to feedback and squash as many bugs as possible. Due to this Alpha will launch with 250 000 Alpha booster packs. Once packs are sold out players are encouraged to trade with each other in order to acquire the cards they need.

Right now all cards are stored in the clients private key which is on your local machine. We will be soon adding the functionality to add a public key to an account so that you can store your card collection offline or in another omni supporting wallet in order secure it (registering a public key will mean you can create cold storage to hold your cards while your public key acts as proof to the server that you own the cards, only instance of a particular public key can be registered to any one account at any one time).

We are also talking to a hardware wallet company about partnering with them to have their wallet support all our tokens as well as all other omni layer tokens.

Please ask me anything! Thanks for your time!

Devs note: This is an alpha and currently there is an issue which may make the initial load time when starting the game for the first time longer than usual, we are working tirelessly to solve this. The load time isn't all that long so please be patient, Kind Regards, Dom.

Get the game for free here!: https://www.bitcardsgame.com/

UPDATE: Got some great feedback and already found a few bugs to fix! Going to fix the bugs and upload a new version of the game! In the mean time I'm going to deactivate the download links on the site so that other people aren't exposed to an outdated build.

Future development roadmap:

- Lightning layer support for booster pack purchase and card trading.
- Card market de-central exchange.
- Registration of multiple public keys.
- Native hardware wallet support.
- Match making and ladder ranking system
- Faster load times.
